Charity

Due to it’s sound financial position Lodge Homewood is able to fund an effective annual charity programme. The main focus is on youth, the Karori community, and other Wellington charities.

We work closely with The Freemason’s Charity and the Wellington Masonic Youth Trust (WMYT) to implement projects that qualify for supporting funding from these organisations.  This support is greatly appreciated as it enables the Lodge’s charity programme to be more effective.  Youth who apply for assistance for individual projects must show strong commitment and have a significant cash contribution.
