Lodge Homewood is for men

We are a vibrant organisation guided by the principles of Freemasonry.
Our members are committed to engaging in charitable activities,

Vision
To be a thriving, active, Freemasons Lodge that preserves strong
traditions, and adds value to the lives of its members and to the
community.
Values
The Lodge values are derived from the basic principles on which
Freemasonry is founded, - brotherly love, relief, and truth. Brotherly
love implies care, concern and support for each other, relief implies
giving support to people in need, and truth implies sincerity, honesty,
and high standards.

Features of our Lodge
Lodge Homewood is a happy Lodge, and membership is enjoyable and
rewarding.
The membership is of medium size with 48 members. Members come from a
wide variety of backgrounds
About 20 members attend meetings regularly. About a third are under 40
yrs, a third between 40 and 65, and a third over 65
The Lodge plans its activities to compliment the work, family, and other
commitments of members.
It aims to maintain a consistent high standard in everything it does.
For new Freemasons there is an initial joining fee of $120.
Thereafter, annual membership fees are approximately $100 per 6 months,
payable in August and February.
Social activities are normally at member’s own expense except for
special Lodge functions when the Lodge pays

Meeting Details
Lodge meetings are men only and we welcome Masonic visitors.
Venue:
The South Wellington Masonic Hall, Ohiro Road, Brooklyn
Dates:
February to October – the last Thursday in the month
November – the first Monday in December
No other meetings in December and January
Time:
6.30pm to approximately 9.45 pm
Programme:
6.30pm drinks and light finger food provided
7.00pm Lodge meeting begins
Visiting Masters and guests are formally introduced and welcomed.
The business session follows, at 9.00pm approx, a complimentary two
course hot dinner with wine is served in refectory
